This page explains what information AK Massage Therapy & Bodywork collects through this website and when you get in touch, and what happens to it. It is written in plain English on purpose.

What this website collects
This website sets no cookies and has no accounts or sign-in.
When you tap a button to call, message me on WhatsApp, get directions or book, the site records the name of that action and the page it happened on, so I can see which pages help people get in touch. It does not record who you are, your IP address or your device.
Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
When you call, message or email
I use your name and contact details only to arrange and provide your appointment. I do not sell or share them, and I do not add you to any marketing list.
WhatsApp messages travel through WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy terms. I keep only what I need to arrange your appointment.
Health information
Tell me in person what I need to know about your health for a safe session. You do not need to send medical details in advance.
Booking online
The booking form at /book/ asks for your name, email, phone number and an optional note about what you'd like worked on. That note is read by me alone; it is never shared with anyone else.
Confirmation, reminder, cancellation and review-request emails go out through Resend, the email service I use to send them. I keep a salted, one-way hashed version of the IP address a booking was made from, with that booking, so I can spot abuse of the booking form; it cannot be turned back into the original address, and it is not your identity.
Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the booking form and on the page you use to manage or cancel a booking, to keep the form free of automated spam. The booking and manage pages carry no page-view counting or analytics of any kind.
Bookings are kept for 24 months after the appointment date and then deleted.
Changes
If this changes, this page will say so and its date will change.
