Questions people ask before booking

What happens at a first visit?

I start by asking where it hurts, since when, and what makes it better or worse. I watch how you move, then work on the areas involved. Before you leave, I tell you in plain words what I noticed and what you can do between sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on how long the problem has been building. Some people feel a clear change after one session. Pain that has been there for months or years usually takes a course; several of my clients have come for ten sessions.

Is massage therapy medical treatment?

No. I am a massage therapist with physical-therapy training from Ukraine, not a physician. If your pain is new, severe or getting worse, or comes with numbness, weakness or fever, see a doctor first.

Will a deep tissue massage hurt?

It should feel firm, sometimes intense, but never sharp. Tell me as soon as the pressure stops feeling useful and I will adjust. Some soreness the next day is normal and usually fades within a day or two.

What should I wear?

Whatever is comfortable. You undress to your level of comfort and stay covered with a sheet throughout, except for the area I am working on.

How do I book?

Online, at any time: pick a session, a day and a time, and the confirmation email arrives right away, with a link to change or cancel. Or message me on WhatsApp or call (703) 261-3453 and I will find a time with you.
